Dear students, colleagues and attendees.
The 2022 IASOC programme has eventually been finalized.
We are very fortunate this year to host an outstanding panel of lecturers, and both proffered and invited speakers despite the dramatic impact of Covid pandemic.
Regretfully, for unforeseen last-minute engagements, Professor Dave MacMillan just informed us that he had been forced to cancel his flight to Italy.
Our sincere regret for this change was however mitigated by the very good news that Professor MacMillan will be available to deliver his lesson online answer students’ questions and participate in discussions relating to his lesson. We are very happy at this!
Accordingly, we kindly invite you to take notice of the following changes for Saturday the 24th of September:
9.00 Ruben Martin
15.00 David WC MacMillan (via zoom platform).
This will give us plenty of time for questions – indeed, we have arranged in order to extend the question time a bit to allow more participants to interact with Professor MacMillan.
Finally, we will shift the poster session at about 17:30, right after the coffee break.
We sincerely thank Professor Dave MacMillan for helping us handle this difficulty and Professor Martin for his very kind response to our request.
See you all very soon and have a nice time meanwhile!
Best wishes
The Scientific and Organizing Committees
